2PM, U-Kiss, and Code-V to Shine at the Meiji Jingu Fireworks Festival

【June 23rd= KEJ Saito Mizuki/Translation=Jeong Ji-Hyun】The “beast” idol 2PM, U-Kiss – who is recently active in Osaka – and the new five-member male group Code-V are all participating in the upcoming Meiji Jingu Fireworks Festival, a famous summer event in Japan.

Along with the Japanese female idol group Momoiro Clover Z, these three korean groups plan to perform live at the Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium on August 6th.

Also at the Jingu Stadium, artists will include the co-ed duo Every Little Thing, Imalu (the 21-year-old actress and daughter of the popular MC Akashiya Sanma), the veteran singer Nakamura Masatoshi(60), the famous drama script writer Kudo Kankuro(40), and the rock band Nunber The.

Meanwhile, Kondo Masahiko(46), Takizawa Hideaki(29), and Tegomass of the Janice crew will perform at the National Stadium.

At the same time, the festival is a charity event to help the earthquake victims in Eastern Japan and will host an exhibition of the region’s local products. Tickets go on sale starting July 2nd.
