Kara reveals October arena tour at fan meeting
【June 24=KEJ Hyejin Koo / Translator Eunbee Kim】Girl group Kara has revealed that they will be holding an arena tour during October of this year at their most recent fan meeting.
Kara met with a total 24,000 fans at the newest installment of the “Kamilia School” fan meeting at Japan’s Yokohama Arena. At this fan meeting, the group announced their second arena tour entitled “KARA 2nd JAPAN TOUR 2013 – KARASIA” which will be spanning 7 cities in October.
Beginning on October 8th in Yokohama, the arena tour will continue to Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Fukui, and Kobe with two performances at locations to amount to a total of over 140,000 audience members. Through their second Japanese tour, “KARA 2nd JAPAN TOUR 2013 – KARASIA”, Kara is planning on upgrading and providing fans with an even bigger experience than before.
After completing their first Japanese tour last April with a total of 6 cities and 150,000 people, Kara definitely asserted their ticket power after selling out the Tokyo Saitama Super Arena. Kara also made K-POP history as the first Korean girl group to sell out a performance at the Tokyo Dome this past January. This second arena tour has already been the center of many expectations to beat the first tour in terms of success.
Meanwhile, Kara is currently in the midst of filming cinedrama “Secret Love” with Kim Kyu Tae, director of hit drama “That Winter, the Wind Blows”.
