2NE1, Indeed “the Best” on a German Music Chart

【July 26th=KEJ Saito Mizuki/ Translator= Jeong Ji-Hyun】 The popular K-Pop group 2NE1’s recent single won the honorable 1st place on the German music website “Viva Online Clip Chart.”
Upon its release, 2NE1’s “I Am the Best” swept the number 1 spots on all major music charts in Korea, which attests to its extreme popularity. On Youtube, the song’s music video shows off an impressive view count of 1,600,000.
Along with 2NE1, “Mona Lisa” by MBLAQ placed 2nd and “Fiction” by B2ST placed 3rd on the same chart. 2PM’s “Hands Up” and the rookie group Hitt’s “Good Night” also placed within 50 songs.
Meanwhile, 2NE1 decided to add one more date to their Japanese tour, “NOLZA in Japan,” which takes place in September along with their debut in Japan. Their record company explained that the tickets that went on sale on July 23rd almost sold out. Including the additional concert on September 20th, 2NE1 will perform a total of 6 concerts for approximately 72,000 of their Japanese fans, starting at the Yokohama Arena on September 19th.
