【July 27th= KEJ Saito Mizuki/ Translator= Jeong Ji-Hyun】 The 6-member “beast” idol 2PM’s first Japanese tour (titled “2PM 1st JAPAN TOUR ‘TAKE OFF’”), which took place in 5 different cities in May to celebrate their debut in Japan, will be broadcasted in Japan on the cable channel WOWOW.
At midnight on July 29th, WOWOW will play the May 12th concert at Makuhari Messe. This stage was added onto the tour’s list after all tickets sold out upon their opening and the fans passionately protested for an additional concert. Now, even the ones who couldn’t attend the tour can go back in time in spirit through this special TV broadcast.
According to 2PM, the concert was a “new start in Japan” for 2PM, the wildly attractive and unconventional idol whose dynamic dance and performance have grabbed the Japanese fans’ attention. Back in May, they had revealed ambitions to continue their activities in Japan.
Indeed, 2PM plan on invigorating Japan this summer by attending numerous music festivals such as the Meiji Jingu Fireworks on August 6th, the “MTV ZUSHI FES11’” which takes place on August 12th at the Riviera Zushi Marina in Kanagawa, Tokyo, the “JYP NATION in JAPAN 2011” at the Saitama Super Arena from August 17th to 18th, and finally, the “J-WAVE LIVE 2000+11 Heart to Heart” at the Tokyo National Yoyogi Gymnasium on August 21st.
2PM will also release their 2nd Japanese single “I’m Your Man” on August 17th.
