For its 30th year anniversary, Lotte Duty-free Department Store held a donation ceremony named “Fruitful Love” at the Lotte World Star Avenue in Jamsil, Songpa-Gu, Seoul. The ceremony began at 11 am, February 22nd, and starred celebrities who are currently active as models for the Lotte Department Store. The stars who attended the event included Rain, Park Yong Ha, Big Bang (G-Dragon, Taeyang, Seungri, and Daesung; Top could not attend due to schedule issues), Song Seung Hun, Ji Sung, and Choi Ji Woo. As if to prove these celebrities’ popularity, numerous fans and the press surrounded the Star Avenue from early in the morning. Even the customers at the Department Store and Hotels nearby made a stop to watch the phenomenon.

Around 10:40 am, cheers and screams sounded from every direction as celebrities entered the photo zone set up at the Star Avenue one by one, Song Seung Hun being the first. Fans did not hesitate to bombard the stars with compliments like “You’re awesome,” “Handsome,” and “So pretty!”

The donations were handed to the Community Chest of Korea by Shin Young Ja, the president of Lotte Department Store; a photo shoot with all the participants of the event followed afterwards. Song Seung Hun, who was designated as the representative of Lotte’s models, jokingly said, “Is it because of my age that I became the representative?” Later, he also shared his opinion, “I wish the donations collected at the Star Avenue will be successfully delivered to those who are less fortunate.” Song also added a new years greeting, considering that the Korean new years passed recently. The money that was donated to the Community Chest of Korea this day was the collection of entering fee to the Lotte World’s Star Avenue; it will be used for the neighbors in need both within Korea and overseas, with help from the TV program “Sunday Night.”
