On March 6th, the actor Jang Dong-Geon announced his wedding to his fans at the COEX auditorium during his birthday fan-meeting.
“The wedding will be on May 2nd at 5 p.m., at Shila Hotel in Jangchoong-Dong. It will be a private wedding with only families, relatives, and friends invited. The preparations for the wedding will begin soon after this fan-meeting,” he said. His wedding announcement was consistent with his promise to his fans; last year, following his relationship scandal, he had promised his fans to notify them first if he decided to get married.
Besides the announcement, Jang Dong-Geon entertained the fans at this fan-meeting with a duet “It’s Fortunate” with singer Lee Juk, and other songs such as “I Saw Her Standing There” and “I Wanna Hold Your Hand” by the Beatles. Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the official fan club “Adonis,” he also read to his fans a poem that he wrote for them.
